Congratulations on becoming a new mum recently, what's been the best part of the experience so far?
There are so many things I love about being a mum but I love seeing him hit milestones & doing things for the first time! It's so rewarding to see him grow into a little human with his own personality.
So exciting that you'll be celebrating your first Mother's Day, what's in store for the day? ( or what are your plans for the day)
We haven't organised anything special yet, maybe I will book myself in for an all day spa session!!! (I wish). Most likely, we will visit my husband's grandmothers as well as our own mothers so it will likely be a day on the road!
Have you got anything on the wish list for Mother’s Day & what will you be giving?
An all day spa session! We will be giving the usual things like flowers & my mum is always partial to a good bottle of bubbles.
What’s the greatest lesson you've learnt from your own mum?
To always focus on the positive and to always be generous with your time when it comes to others.
Do you have your own relaxation or bedtime ritual?
I love to focus on my skincare routine, it's always a nice way to wind down after a busy day. And I also always read a book in bed before I go to sleep.
What are some nighttime essentials you cannot live without?
I cannot live without rain music playing, the SNOO bassinet, wearing a retinol serum, a lip mask, a freshly made bed and of course, comfy pyjamas!
What is your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure is a block of Cadbury chocolate!
How do you engage in self-care?
I take time for myself, whether that is going to the gym or doing a yoga or pilates class, taking collagen and multivitamins, watching my favourite reality TV show and trying to get an early night in when I can.
